About our ideal candidate:

The VP, Business Development will play an integral and collaborative leadership role across our organization. This role will not only lead our sales team and drive growth for our organization but will do so by forging and maintaining impactful relationships with our global creative leadership team to help drive and deliver meaningful and impactful work for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with expertise in the digital product design industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships, both domestically and internationally
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, including strong collaboration with our global creative leadership team on proposal development and project scoping
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and messaging
Lead the sales team to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
Evaluate and optimize the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the digital product design industry and market trends
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the business development team
Stay up-to-date on industry news, competition, and emerging technologies
Provide thought leadership within the digital product design consulting industry by speaking at conferences, publishing articles, and participating in industry associations and events

About you:

You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
You have 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field with a proven successful track record in digital product design
You have strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing teams
You have exemplary business acumen, with an ability to understand and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition
You have experience in the digital product design industry, with a deep understanding of user research, UX/UI design, and prototyping
You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, ideally within the digital product design space
You have a passion for technology and innovation with a deep understanding of the latest trends and market movements
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
You have exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
